No doubt you’ve seen them up and down the interstate. Up here it’s Victory Fireworks, down towards Madison it’s Cornellier (sp) Fireworks.
With there huge ‘showrooms’ and 4 for 1 deals.
Plus multiple billboards for each store.
My question is how are these stores turning a profit?
Billboards on the interstate will run more than $800/month. For each. Plus you have overhead, land, the building, and personnel. And a bunch of other stuff as well.
Yes, they’d do a brisk business during the 4th of July. But what about in October? Or April?
And maybe I’m in the minority but I’ve never bought fireworks. And the majority of people I know aren’t purchasing hundreds of dollars worth of fireworks every year either…
Multiple stores only selling fireworks. I shake my head every time I drive past another one… Or maybe it’s because I’m to dense to get it…
Oh, and happy 4th of July!
